Pre season handout |
The threshold for qualifying for a Pre season handout remains the same. The Pre season
handout fund has been reduced though. The fund of £2,000,000 is distributed amongst teams who have finances of
less than £1,000,000 going into the start of the season. No teams qualify going into Season 17.
Rules of the handout are:
- Teams must try to sell a player if they have less than £1,500,000, even though they might have more
than the threshold for receiving a handout.
- Teams must first attempt to reach £1,500,000 by putting 1 player on the pre season transfer list.
- Teams will never be given more than enough money from the Handout to lift them above £1,100,000.
- If all of the Handout is required, it is be distributed in £100,000 chunks until the final £100,000 is left.
That is be divided in £10,000 chunks.
- Weighting is given to teams with the least money.

Foreign player transfer aid |
| When a team
bids for a player from abroad, they must ensure they have enough money to cover the transaction. However, in order to
keep as much money as possible circulating within the league, the Subbuteo Football Association will pay half of the
cost of the player. This is called Foreign Player Transfer Aid. |

The amounts gained as a result of a win, and lost after a loss remain at:
- Between £100,000 and £500,000 per win.
- Between £0 and £200,000 per draw.
- Between £-300,000 and £100,000 per loss.

- Winner: £1,500,000
- 2nd-5th: £150,000
Division 4
- Winner: £1,000,000
